This morning, I drove kjabernathy and persipone to the airport after a long-weekend visit, where we did crafty things, ate lots of good food, watched Torchwood, Doctor Who, Buffy, and an encore showing of Wrath of Khan, though I half-fear that kjabernathy now believes that Spock gets resurrected as a whale.

I've spent a lot of today getting my ass kicked by a story. I'm in the "fill in the missing pieces" stage of editing, and for every section I fix, another section falls apart, like I'm working with dough that keeps tearing.

I just watched Never Again and I'd forgotten its placement in season four of The X-Files. It's right after Leonard Betts and just before Memento Mori, which means that Scully knows in her heart that she has cancer, that she has something Leonard Betts needs, and that explains more than anything why she's wondering how Mulder's life became her life ( Read more... )
